<p>In the mountains of Timor Leste I found the hideout of rebel soldiers who had broken away from their governments forces after a bloody battle in and around Dili in 2006. I was the first photojournalist to venture across the battle front in Dili to find the rebel soldiers and police and gain intimate insight into the unfolding struggle. I documented the story for Time Magazine and some of my journal of the assignment can be read in my <a href="\">Filed Notes blog</a>.</p>
